MINT JULEP

Summary

The mint julep is an easy to make refreshing cocktail to enjoy when the days are hot. Since bourbon is the dominating flavor in the drink, pick a bourbon you enjoy to pair with mint and simple syrup. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 OZ (60ML) BOURBON

  • 0.5 OZ (15ML) SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 8-10 MINT LEAVES

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. IN YOUR GLASS MUDDLE THE MINT AND THE SYRUP.

  2. ADD THE BOURBON AND FILL THE GLASS WITH CRUSHED ICE.

  3. STIR UNTIL THE GLASS IS COLD.

  4. ADD MORE ICE TO CREATE A DOME.

  5. ADD BITTERS TO THE TOP (OPTIONAL)

  6. GARNISH.
