All we have here is a whiskey sour that thinks it’s better than everyone else. Combine all of the elements of the classic and refreshing whiskey sour with a red wine topper and you might just find your new favorite cocktail.
2 OZ (60ML) RYE OR BOURBON
1 OZ (30ML) LEMON JUICE
1 OZ (30ML) SIMPLE SYRUP
0.5 OZ (15ML) RED WINE
1 EGG WHITE (OPTIONAL)
ADD ALL INGREDIENTS MINUS RED WINE TO A SHAKER AND SHAKE WELL WITH ICE.
(BE SURE TO DRY SHAKE FIRST IF YOU OPTED IN FOR THE EGG WHITE.)
STRAIN INTO A ROCKS GLASS OVER FRESH ICE.
FLOAT THE RED WINE ON TOP OFF THE BACK OF A SPOON.
