NY SOUR

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 OZ (60ML) RYE OR BOURBON

  • 1 OZ (30ML) LEMON JUICE

  • 1 OZ (30ML) SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 0.5 OZ (15ML) RED WINE

  • 1 EGG WHITE (OPTIONAL)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. ADD ALL INGREDIENTS MINUS RED WINE TO A SHAKER AND SHAKE WELL WITH ICE.

  2. (BE SURE TO DRY SHAKE FIRST IF YOU OPTED IN FOR THE EGG WHITE.)

  3. STRAIN INTO A ROCKS GLASS OVER FRESH ICE.

  4. FLOAT THE RED WINE ON TOP OFF THE BACK OF A SPOON.

  5. SERVE.
