INGREDIENTS

  • ABSINTHE (TO RINSE)

  • 1.25 OZ (37.5ML) RYE WHISKEY

  • 1.25 OZ (37.5ML) COGNAC

  • 2 DASHES ANGOSTURA BITTERS

  • 3 DASHES PEYCHAUD’S BITTERS

  • SUGAR CUBE

  • BAR SPOON COLD WATER

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. RINSE A ROCKS GLASS WITH ABSINTHE AND DISCARD THE EXCESS.

  2. MUDDLE THE SUGAR CUBE IN A MIXING GLASS WITH COLD WATER AND BOTH BITTERS.

  3. ADD COGNAC AND RYE AND STIR WITH ICE UNTIL COLD.

  4. STRAIN INTO THE RINSED ROCKS GLASS OVER FRESH ICE.

  5. GARNISH.
