RINSE A ROCKS GLASS WITH ABSINTHE AND DISCARD THE EXCESS.MUDDLE THE SUGAR CUBE IN A MIXING GLASS WITH COLD WATER AND BOTH BITTERS.ADD COGNAC AND RYE AND STIR WITH ICE UNTIL COLD.STRAIN INTO THE RINSED ROCKS GLASS OVER FRESH ICE.GARNISH.
